Gas Boilers
Combi, system and conventional boiler installation, breakdown repairs and annual servicing with landlord CP12 certificates. We work on Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal and the other major brands, including back boiler and warm air replacements in older Scottish housing.
Oil Boilers
OFTEC registered installation, repair and servicing for the many properties across East Lothian and the Borders that sit off the gas grid. We handle boilers and oil tanks together, because a new boiler on a failing tank solves only half the problem.
Heat Pumps
Air source heat pump installation designed around your property, delivered with our accredited installation partner so the work is grant eligible. We also repair and service heat pumps installed by other companies, including Mitsubishi Ecodan.
Renewables
Solar thermal for hot water and wet underfloor heating, both of which work particularly well alongside a heat pump. Underfloor runs at the low flow temperature a heat pump prefers, and solar takes the summer hot water load away entirely.

A local team, thirty years in
Total Energy Solutions Scotland is a family business run by Stuart, who has spent more than three decades in the trade and still attends the surveys himself. The team is small on purpose, which is why the person who quotes your job is generally the person who turns up to do it.
We started as plumbing and heating engineers and grew with the trade, adding oil, then solar, then heat pumps as Scottish homes began moving away from fossil fuels. That range matters in this part of the country, because a village property off the gas grid needs a genuinely different conversation from a terrace in Musselburgh.
