Total Energy Solutions Scotland Limited ("we", "us") is a heating and renewables business registered in Scotland (company number SC376461) at 25 Muirfield Grove, Gullane, EH31 2EW. This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use this website or contact us. Questions: email totalenergysol@btinternet.com or call 07823 777081.

What we collect

When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or the form on our contact page, we receive the details you choose to give us: typically your name, phone number, postcode, address and a description of the work you need. The contact form opens your own email app to send us a message; this website does not store or transmit form data itself.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out work, register manufacturer warranties, and keep records we are legally required to hold. Where you ask us to handle grant applications, such as a heat pump grant, we share the details needed for that application with your consent.

Cookies and third parties

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Some pages embed a Google Map, which may set cookies from Google, and our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google's own privacy policy for how it handles that data. Messages sent to us on WhatsApp are handled under WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy.

Sharing and retention

We never sell your data. We share it only where needed to do the job: for example with boiler manufacturers for warranty registration or with scheme administrators for grant paperwork. We keep job records for as long as needed to honour guarantees and meet legal and tax obligations, typically six years.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
